Great campsite right on the river. Pretty narrow spots but plenty long. Bathrooms stayed clean the whole time but to get to showers was a decent walk. The site was filled with holes of squirrel homes but they didnt seem to be a bother as I was very good about always having food in the bins.

I don't know when this started happening but both nights in Yosemite we had people stroll through our campsite while we were hanging out eating or just sitting by the fire. I saw someone even go into someone else's site and take wood from their firepit. They didn't know each other! Bathrooms don't have soap, so be prepared with your own.

This site (#105) was so extremely narrow and close to the adjacent site that it was difficult to squeeze between my little van and the neighbors slide out. FIrst there were THREE families in the adjacent site that continually cut through my campsite (between my van and my chair and table) to get the restrooms and then the motor home with slideout that ran it's generator at all hours of the night. All in all I ended up leaving a day early just to get some peace. Would definitely NOT recommend 105 unless you are camping WITH the people next door.

Great location, nice access to the river. Close, but not too close, to water and bathrooms. A little rocky so there’s just a few spots to put up the tent. Great hammock trees.

Always love North Pines and our experience was fantastic as usual. Thank you for opening up the campsites you could. We were lucky. Unfortunately, the absence of oversight by Park Rangers during the night causes some problems. One night we were awakened at 2:00 a.m. by people arriving and setting up camp next to us and then starting a fire and talking and drinking until 5:00 a.m. They left the next morning and we’re pretty sure they didn’t even have a reservation.

Beautiful site, very happy that the NPS did the work to get the campsite open, even though some particular areas were flooded due to the massive snow year.

It is the greatest feeling in the world to wake up in Yosemite. North Pines is a great campground. I fell asleep to the relaxing sounds of the Merced and woke up as the sun rose over Half Dome.

I loved that we were right next to the river in site 105, and close to the bathroom. We were right in the heart of the valley. What a great site!

It was great because of the reduced amount of people in the campground.

You never know what the campsite will be like in Yosemite. We had to move a couple of times. There was a tree stump in Upper Pines that prevented us from backing into a site. Had another tree stump at North Pines that ruined my trailer steps. You would think that the NPS would do something with the stumps. They are well aware of the problems. It would take about 15 minutes for an employee with a chain saw to cut these stumps to ground level so they wouldnt be a hazard. The good news is that most of the sites are really nice!

It is impossible to get any site at all, not to mention a good site, even though I attempt exactly at opening bell. Everything is reserved with in microseconds. I have no choice but to spend hours online trying to get a day here and there and have to move sites 5 times to stay a week. I find the site useless and in the future will call or will just go somewhere else. If there was a way to get any site in the valley for 5 consecutive nights it might be more useful. There must be some unfair practice in play for reserving sites for all sites to be gone immediately as they are made available. When selecting a desired site that is not available, it takes too long to set up a new selection. By then there are no more sites. I just hate it. Sorry.
