Off season, one loop open, no water at campground. Water available nearby at visitor center. Very clean vault toilet. WiFi available at no cost.Very quiet location (except for when people drive over the cattle guard fast). Not crowded, weather was great. Easy access to the whole Black Hills (Custer, wildlife loop, Rushmore, etc.). Beautiful drives to the north through prairie.Excellent hiking into Cold Canyon, to the fire overlook at Rankin Ridge, and others.

Nice campground, well-maintained, good facilities. I would definitely come back here if I was in the area. Ranger presentation was fantastic as well.

This is a beautiful place to camp. The camp hosts are very welcoming and accommodating. It was really nice to observe the wildlife, to watch & hear them. So beautiful to see the bison herd in the meadow.

Close to the Wind Cave NPS. We're able to see herd of Bison crossing the road which is in front of our campground. Deer came to our campsite.

I suppose this is in the non electric RV camping area but from the pictures trying to book it appeared to be the only area that would be large and flat enough for our tent so we booked it. We were not let down. The space was open and flat. It is close to flush toilet. And non flush toilets which we avoided after we found the flush toilets. The cave was closed but we still very much enjoyed our stay. We hope to go camp there again! The loop was very open but the sites were still very nicely spaced out allowing for plenty of privacy.

We enjoyed one night here while traveling through the area. We didnt have a reservation and the self checkin was easy and fast. Restrooms were very clean. We watched bison herds in the evening from our campsite and drove through some when leaving the visitor center.

Campground was clean and quiet, and very beautiful. We drove through a bison jam on our very first entrance into the park, it was awesome. The only downside is that there were no showers in the campground, which is the only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars.
