Not the best campsite. Lots of day users and bathrooms are rough. I'd try other locations in the National Forest next time.

First time we stayed here and were very pleased with the campground, access to facilities and our site had our reservation correctly posted. This campground is small, 17 sites, mostly tent camping, but we have a pop-up trailer and had no problem and saw a smaller motor home using one site during our stay. The day we were packing up to leave the forest ranger showed up to check with occupants and to do campsite maintenance. Our site was ready to use when we got there. A large concrete picnic table and a fire ring, which we made use of. The beautiful Santiam river flowing by with short hiking trails that we took advantage of and saw some old growth trees along the way to marvel at as well as a waterfall. Trails were maintained, but due to recent rain and ground seeping they were wet, but being cautious we had no problems. We would come back again. (We also took time to pick up any debris we came across and disposed it in the campsite trash cans). We all need to do our part to keep our National parks clean so others can have a good experience while camping.
