Although Mike does an extremely nice job of keeping the park/restrooms clean and well stocked I did feel that he and his digs were over sensitive to noise. We had a group of 25 people and three dogs at the group site which is extremely close the park host and he approached us everyday that his dogs barked at night and woke him up and according to him that was our fault. That seemed a little unfair to place that blame on us. Dogs have superior hearing and they bark at stuff. Even with music off and no games being played a group of that sitting around a fire talking creates noise albeit a group if 80 which the site states it can accommodate. I have been to packard creek with the same group for multiple years either in the group site or others sites together without issue and although we did not get removed the constant threat of it really put a damper on the trip which is unfortunate due to a situation which seems like something out of my control.(his barking dogs)

It's a very good location for a big group. The host was very nice and the lake is very beautiful this year.
