Can pretty confidently say we will never come back here. Most of the sites are so small, not level, and there is seriously poison oak EVERYWHERE! We camp very often with our two young kids and usually the best part of camping with them is letting them play, dig, build (with sticks), explore in the campsite, but not here, way too much poison oak! The site I reserved online had stairs that needed to be repaired and didn't fit our tent (although there are no tent pad dimensions listed online upon reserving, to me this should be something that's included in every site), luckily the host was extremely kind and let us switch spots.
I did give it two stars because the lake was ok and we had a fun day playing. Even though the "beach" is a concrete slab, there's no longer a sectioned off designated swim area, and the grass there is not grass, more like rough mowed weeds. Hey I guess it was mowed! Still lots of poison oak near the picnic site and hard to tell which picnic sites were day use and which were camp sites. But the lake water was nice and there weren't too many boats, it made for a fun day paddleboarding. We also saw a family of skunks, so do what you will with that info.
Also want to point out that the hosts know about a lot of the issues with this campground and made it seem like when they report stuff nothing gets done, so not their fault.
For real, with all the amazing camping spots in Oregon, I don't think I'll miss not coming back to this one.

Spot 32 was super tight for our fifth wheel and the area where the table and fire ring is was not very usable. The table was broken and there were downed trees everywhere. The lake was beautiful

The campground is a lush, pristine and beautiful site. The hosts are highly attentive to cleanliness of the facilities. The campground is aging with decaying wooden stairs, but nothing was unsafe. The boat launch area for motor boats as well as canoe Launch made this a very special place. Very quiet, serene, numerous birds and animals.

We stayed at Packard Creek in August and didn't realize that the reservoir level was low to the point where there were hardly any boaters. This actually was great for us because we didn't have a boat, and the campground was had only a few campers. We have kayaks and at this time of the year the reservoir was perfect for an experience where we didn't have to compete with motorized boats. As for the campground, it was fantastic. It wasn't busy, the campground was nestled in a forest so each site had lots of shade and with our dog we enjoyed walks in the morning, afternoon and evening along trails and the campground loops without a problem. Also, I want to mention that the campground hosts were great - we got several opportunities to talk with them about the campground, places to hike, etc. We would definitely come back to Packard Creek in the future, especially after the water levels have dropped to a point where the boaters aren't interested ini this place.

Best camp host ever. Very friendly and kept the campground and bathrooms clean. Lots of huge trees and beautiful scenery. Great waterfront campsites.
