You can camp here and easily walk to see Koosah falls. It was quiet we all had a good nights sleep. There wasn’t any internet and no potable water.

Love Ice Cap Campground, the host's were great people and everything was Very Clean and well maintained. I have been going to this campsight for the past 45 years....we really, really miss the fishing at Carmen, it was one of the reasons we began going there! My kids are bigger but they and their families all come up at least once a year to join us....but, we have to go somewhere else to fish! Very dissappointed in the slow progress made with the diversion work!
If you want good camping though and wonderful central location Ice Cap can't be beat....

Upon arrival we were notified by the camp host that the reservoir was closed and apparently had been for TWO YEARS. Which meant there was no fishing, swimming, or any access to it allowed. We couldn’t even walk down to view it. NO WHERE on the website did it state that. We were aware of the no campfires thing but had no clue there was no access to the reservoir. So in over 90 degree weather the options she gave us was to go on a hike. Then she charged us for an extra vehicle (that we thought we already paid for) and left. We stayed one night and left (even tho we had paid for two nights). It was a joke. Had we known we would have simply reserved a spot in a different campground.

we had the best time ever, we enjoyed our family time. I wish it had showers that would make it spectacular.

Lovely campground with huge, private spots. Nearby falls were spectacular, and being close to Clear Lake so we could kayak was a true bonus. The petrified trees at the bottom of the lake and the aquamarine color of the water were nothing short of astonishing.

Love this campground. The sites are big and spaced out. The best part is you can hear the waterfall that is close by.
