One of my favorite campgrounds in the whites! Quiet and convenient access to Conway and right along the Kanc.

We love this campground. My wife, dog and I come here every year for a short getaway. Right off the river, the kanc, direct access to hiking trails and no cell service! The family that runs it is extremely nice and helpful. They sell firewood at their site that burns way better then the road side or gas station wood. Its worth the few extra dollars per bundle to give business to the family and have a more enjoyable campfire. We will be back next year!

I grew up going to covered bridge every year with my family. Now that I'm an adult and have camped in many other places, I realize how truly special covered bridge is. The sites are amazing, the camp hosts are incredible, the lower falls swimming area is rejuvenating and the overall family feel and sense of peace in the woods is unparalleled. The only equal experiences car camping I've had were in the Redwoods of northern California. I highly recommend the boulder loop trail, a visit to North Conway, and bringing a mushroom field guide. We found many bowls of chanterelles and black trumpets for our culinary enjoyment! Can't wait to bring my family back one day, and when this pandemic ends, to return with my extended family and friends. Worth the trip from Washington, DC, a great escape from the summer heat!
