Good experience with nice, large campsites and beautiful location. Showers would have been appreciated. Close to hiking trails that are worth a visit.

The campground is clean and well taken care of except for the potholes in the road. There are many trails close by and local attractions.

We've been camping with my husband's entire family at Covered Bridge Campground for over 40 years. We love the river and the large sites, and the current campground hosts are wonderful - very friendly and helpful. Getting away from it all for a couple of weeks without cell phones & internet keeps us well connected on a personal level and we all treasure this time. Our kids have grown up camping here and now they bring their own kids to continue the tradition. While we have no cell phone service here (except for an occasional text message that leaks through), but we're ok with that. We like the escape from real life.
