Beautiful, rustic campground. I love that I do not need to get in a car to hike a mountain (Boulder Loop is there) or walk across a covered bridge. I can sometimes even hear the river from the campsite. Very nice hosts too.

This place is hands down one of my favorite grounds to hit for a few days each summer. You can get there by going up the Kanc or even going up passaconaway road. The hosts are fantastic every year. They have great firewood and the husbands punch lines are always a kicker. They have 8$ bundles of firewood. They do burn quick but theyre still worth it for sure !! They have a variety of sites that range from small to extra large. They do tents and RVs and some paths lead right to the pristine swift river which is a quick walk away. Just up the road are places like the Albany covered bridge, champney falls, lower falls and sabbaday falls you guessed it ! All beautious waterfalls !!! Check them out! They amazing ! This place used to be a hidden gem, but every year its getting more and more popular..

Very nice campground. Spring water at a outlet that continuously runs. Sites for the most part are large. This campground has pit/vault toilets so if wind direction is right you can get a bit of odor. Walking distance to the Swift River and Covered Bridge. If you are pulling a trailer you will have to take the back way to the campground as the bridge height is 7.9 feet or less or so. Boulder Loop hiking trail is a decent hike, and there are a lot more hiking trails in the area. You will get motorcycle noise from the Kancamagus highway that you can hear in the campground.

We have been camping in the White Mountain National Forest for 41 years and love every minute. We have three generations coming with us every year and everyone from ages 6-65 have a fabulous time. This year was a bit unusual (Covid-19), but we had a great time swimming in the Swift river and hiking at Sabbaday Falls. We got a bit creative and had an Easter egg hunt, Field day and Christmas in July. Just being at camp was relaxing and fun!! The camp ground hosts were very friendly and kept up with cleaning the restrooms.

Place is our Favorite! always clean and friendly. The Hosts do a great Job to welcome and see that order is enforced for the enjoyment of all.
