Stay at site 34 for one quick night and was very please with my first stay at Campton. Everyone in the area was friendly and the campsite was clean and well cared for. Firewood purchased was a little wet and there was some light noise from the nearby road from our campsite. Overall I would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Campton. We were in a beautiful wooded spot that was large and well distanced from our neighbors. Campton is well located in the center of many area activities. The facilities were clean and well kept for the most part. The only downsides were; overhanging limbs at the entry of our campsite bent a section of our antenna as we were backing in. Also, the showers were a bit pricey at $2.50 for 5-6 minutes. I understand that the cost offsets the cost of the water, but 2.50 seems a bit steep. All that said, we enjoyed our stay a great deal.

Our campsite was the perfect size for us! We were all happily surprised. There were 5 of us and three tents with plenty of room. The fire fit came with two attachments perfect for grilling food which we weren’t expecting so that was also a nice touch. The only thing we Weren’t pleases with were the bathrooms. They were such a mess and had no hand soap in them. Besides that, great experience!

Showers were hot, and had space to place your possessions down to stay dry. The campground was large, with plenty of room to park and pitch the tent etc.
There is a dollar store down the road for emergency supplies...when you forget x. and y. and z. There is also an ATM down the road to get cash for buying wood.
The only challenge was that if the staff were away, we felt we couldn't buy wood. But they were so friendly, that we ended up leaving cash for the wood we needed, along with a note, and they were fine with that.
