I was very pleased with Sugarloaf 1: Relatively large campsites with lots of wooded space separating sites. Convenient basic services like water faucets and restrooms within a reasonable distance. Beautiful and strategic location of the campground. Reasonable fee. Easy reservation process. Great experience.

Bathrooms always clean. Campsites spaced out plenty.

been going up since the early 90s, can't say I've ever had a bad experience at Sugarloaf. very easy to book a site. camp hosts have always been decent people to talk to. bathrooms are kept clean as can be, sites are cleaned up before the new campers come in. plenty of space & trees between the sites too! we never feel like we're in a large group because of the space and privacy. the campsite is somewhat in the middle of some great hiking trails, with more just a short drive away. very inexpensive, really can't go wrong with this place. unless some drastic "glamping" changes are made we'll continue to trek to Sugarloaf for our camping trips. well worth the trip!!!

Beautiful, well-maintained site. Lots of trees made for a relaxing environment as well as providing a buffer between camp sites. Easy access to lots of great hiking. Recommend Arethusa Falls (south on 302) for a quick, semi-challenging hike with a very photogenic payoff. Wish we could have stayed longer.
