Beautiful lakeside campsites. Park grounds are well manicured. We stayed in a Class A motorhome during their first come- first serve time of year. There was no state park info at check in, so we had no idea if there were hiking trails available. At the entrance there is a civil war "farm" with interesting placards explaining the various buildings and war encampment sites. Most sites are full hook up, a rarity at state parks!! There is no cell service or internet. They do have pay- per day internet. Bath houses need updating. Will definitely do a return visit and stay longer.

Very nice campground with the exception of grass cutting. Weve been camping at Bulltown for many years and its a shame that basic grounds maintenance is being neglected. Seems that the grass is being cut once every 3 or 4 weeks

Had a great time, close to the water and fairly decent weather.

Navigating through all the cars, Trucks, Boats, Trailers that were parked at each site overflowing out along the road was a real pain! we had to plan our exit with our camper as to not hit any obstructions on the way out. Camp host & Park Rangers were very lax in keeping the congestion's down. The Campground does have overflow parking which most people never used. People were continuously walking through our site with no respect for privacy.
