Was a very beautiful park. Well maintained overall. The day use area and water access was a short walk from even the furthest camp site (the park is smaller in person than the map makes it look). The things I didn't like though is that the men's showers have ZERO privacy from the rest of the bathrooms. Sure they have stalls for the showers, but where the changing area is there is only a doorway and no partition or curtain or anything allowing some privacy from the redt.of the bathroom. You walk in the door and the shower area is to your right and it's very open. Grsnted it's nice that pretty much everyone had rvs they showered in but where my mom and I were there for a few days and didn't have running hot water we resorted to using the showers. Water pressure and everything else about the shower is great. You can adjust the temp to what you want, and the showers are free (not coin operated). And the other thing I didn't like is that they physically lock the gate to the park at 10pm, which makes me nervous about what if you had a medical emergency or had.to leave suddenly in the middle of the night. There's no way around the gate unless you went and woke up the camp host. I wanted to go out a d get some scenic sunset photos from across the river, but with them locking the gates that never happened as I didn't want to have to walk all the way back to my site in the dark. All in all, I do recommend this park though. It's beautiful! Has good water access from a few sites. Some of the sites further down in the campground look like they're right on the water but that's deceiving as there's a big hill going down and tons of brush between that. Oh, and I also do like that there's a gas station /convenience store like 2 miles back up the road so if you need any essentials you have that nearby.

We had a group of five campsites, three lake-side (23, 25 and 27) and two across on the inside of the loop in the grass. The sites inside the loop were shady and had soft, green grass. The lake-side campsites aren't watered, so the grass was dry and brown, and the site was dusty, but our view of the lake was spectacular! Access to the lake wasn't great, just a steep dirt path down through the tall briars and grass (with huge spiders and their webs!). We were, however, able to take our kayaks and paddleboards down to the water for some great paddling. Other than the dust and dry grass on the three lakeside sites, the campground is nicely maintained and the restrooms are very clean. If you have a lakeside site closer to the marina the grass is watered and green. Water pressure was periodically an issue, but was corrected immediately once we notified the park managers. We'll definitely be back! Too bad the park closes after Labor Day, there's still a lot of summer left!

Beautiful park with great views of the snake river. The hosts are wonderful, friendly and helpful. There is lots of space between sites; however, not many level surfaces for a tent. The train runs day and night 7 days/week. The tracks are very close to to the campground and can be a bit scary being so close. Also, this campground is 40+ minutes away from decent grocery stores in Pasco. All that being said, come prepared and bring your boat!

The park is clean, the RV sites are picturesque, the facilities are clean, the swimming is great and the covered group settings are excellent. The hosts were delightful and accommodating. An excellent experience every time we go.

We love Fishhook Park. We've gone twice a year for about 25 years. We have a family gathering on one of those trips every year. We ride our personal water, swim, play yard games, etc. We have a lot of fun. We have told our friends about this park.
