Check in process was excellent! Layout of the park was described, all services pin-pointed, rules reviewed. Additionally, I found out I had a discount I didn't know about, so I got a partial refund of the camping fee. Park was very quiet, lots of places to walk the dog. Since it was during the week the park was pretty empty. I would definitely stay here again.

We used it as a stop over , beautiful park along the snake river, host was very nice, park was very neat , clean , quiet. Electric at your site , ours was a pull through, water and sewer was available as well . Would definitely stay again. We have a 40 foot Super C … no issues driving to or through the park .

Hood Park is a nice, clean campground. It has many shady camp sites and is close to Tri-Cities WA, a three city area with a lot going on. There is fishing, boating, biking, hiking and swimming with two rivers converging by the park. Covered gazebos are available for large & small groups. Lewis & Clark camped across the Snake River from Hood Park at Sacajawea State Park, very interesting - lots of history. Ice Harbor Dam is down the road from Hood Park. On the North East side of Ice Harbor there are Indian Hieroglyphics at a little park above the dam. The area has tons of agriculture and during the growing season (May - October) you can find fresh vegetables and fruit such as asparagus, apples, carrots, cherries, onions and melons, just to name a few. The Pasco Farmer's market is every Saturday, May - October, from 8 AM to 1 PM not far from the park. There are many fruit/vegetable stands and lots of touristy places to purchase homemade goods, food and gifts. All in all a great place to stay!

Very clean restrooms,
The grounds are very well kept. I usually rate Charbonneau a little better but this year I have to lean to Hood.
We stayes 4 nites at Charbonneau and then moved to Hood for 2 nites.. So we are looking at the same time.
