There is no water during early season, so be prepared for using the outhouse if you don't have your own bathroom. Other than that the campground is great.

Nice ground, outhouses were a little low in TP

My group enjoyed our stay at this campground with all the basic amenities you could need especially staying at this site that had easy lake access and wonderful views. We all had cell service and had great neighbors during our stay. Not far from town in case you forgot anything! Would stay at this site again.

Kettle Falls Campground is one of the best kept secrets in the NW. Great accessibility to the boat ramp and incredible views make this a place to get away from it all. The fact that it is less than a two-hour drive for us makes it even better. Conveniences and necessities are close if needed as well. This is our go-to camping spot and it is normally pretty easy to get a short notice reservation.

We camped at the end of the season so the campground was mostly empty. We had a riverside space that was lovely. If you walk the whole length of the park along the improved trail from one end to the other it is a nice walk of about 3 miles round trip. We viewed geese and ducks and other birds. The snakes were out too with my wife almost stepping on a young rattle snake sunning itself in the trail so be alert on walks. The nature walk trail has bench's and tables situated along the way at points where bird watching can be had. We have visited several Federal campgrounds this year and it is obvious that funds to support them are not what they used to be. The restrooms were relatively clean although we saw no cleaning activity during our 3 day stay. We would stay here again as most spaces are drive throughs that are nicely shaded in the trees if you visit in hot weather. The town of Kettle Falls is just a short 10 minute drive away if you forget any basics.

This was the first time we have been to the Kettle Falls Campground. We had a great spot along the river. Bathrooms were a bit rustic. Lots of wildlife in the area.

One of the bathrooms was very nice and clean but the others were covered in bugs and pretty gross.

Very clean facility with lots of shade and tremendous views. Volunteer park rangers stopped by one day and they were a joy to speak with - great program.
