We were kept up all night by people partying way past 10 PM running their generators. One guy was peeing off the top of his RV. On the other side, we had the walk-ins in the walk-in parking lot. Theres a group up there. Also partying the max parking for the walk-in is four vehicles. However, there mustve been 15 or more scattered around parking lot throughout the night. We had people walking through our campsite, trying to park in our campsite. Both of these situations made it very uncomfortable and made us feel unsafe camping there with family. I was very disappointed. I grew up going to there and never had that experience. We always had a park Ranger walking around at night checking in with everyone. It took us having to go bug the camp host several times and calling the sheriff which then felt like we had a target on us.Ill be back, but Im hoping things have changed otherwise I wont return again.

This is a gorgeous campsite. We stayed in a middle loop site (14 and also, later, 17) and they were so spacious. The site is clean, bathrooms clean. Lots of water access and a great little coffee stand (that also does breakfast) right up the street. It was quiet from street traffic as well. Just really impressed with this site.

Great campground with lots of trails just off of it. Good spacing between sites so that you are not right on top of each other. Most sites had plenty of flat space to pitch a tent as well as easy parking for and RV. I stayed in campsite 14 which had no level ground and the frw areas level enough to place a twnt only would fit a small one. I have a 2 person tent so that was fine. I would reccomend the site for a backpack camper as the tress would make it tight to pull through a larger RV or trailer. If you can for a tent I'd choose a different site. A small tent would be fine but a larger one will leave you sleeping completely on the hillside instead of a remotely flat area.

Sentinel Trail and Bluff Trail are nice hikes.

Nice developed spot to stay with clean restrooms. Not much hiking or activity at the campground unless you have a boat. Overall no complaints.
