Clean, well kept campground with spectacular views of the lake and islands. Friendly, helpful staff, attentive to campers needs. Restroom/ showers are well maintained and convenient to all camp locations.

Goosepoint is my favorite place to camp! The sites are nice and spacious! I love being able to look at the lake. Our site and others I saw could use some gravel. It made it dusty without enough gravel. Other than that it has been great!!

Only campground I've ever been in that check is 5:00 by the time you get set up the day is gone. Check in should be no later than 1 or 2:00 pm. Most campgrounds are 11:00 am. All around my picnic table was all dirt (no gravel) . Check in being the time it is and campsites that dirty probably our last trip to goose point.

This was first time on this spotits nice and shady lot of room will accommodate large campers view of the lake isnt bad either

The road to get to Goose point is very steep, curvy, has a hair pin turn and is very hilly. If you are towing something you should unhook at the bottom and drive separately. The sites however are really beautiful and I’m not sure any of them have a bad view. We were in 19 and it was a little bit sloped downwards but for a campground it was really level. The one trail is very short and mostly paved but you’re close enough to Fairy Stone to go hiking and it’s gorgeous there. The lake is great and gorgeous. The bath house was very clean and the water was hot but it did drain slowly. The dump station was nice though it was up the hairpin turn so a portable waste tank is advisable unless your black tank can hold for the whole time you’re there. The wireless signal is spotty at best but that’s why you camp, right? Overall we loved our stay and the place was really nice.

Wonderful, peaceful experience, Great kayaking around the lake. Do not miss the Philpott Dam visitor Center and views from the dam overlook.

Goose Point is one of our absolute favorite places to camp. Just wish it was easier to book a site there

This was our first time staying at goose point Park. We enjoyed our time during this fall weekend. The lake was beautiful especially the leaves on the trees turning colors. The sites are spacious and well set up. We loved the fire pit with the retaining wall around it. The atmosphere and other campers were so friendly. The paved roads were nice for walking and good for kids to ride bikes, scooters and pull a wagon. We will definitely be back.

Amazing site. Lake was beautiful; fishing was good. Dogs and kids had a great time. We got lucky and were able to book site 19 out on the point. There must have been a cancellation because there hadnt been anything available out on the point. This is my new favorite place.
