Really liked this spot. Great view of the lake and nice size. Pretty easy to back into. I would camp here again

It is best to camp during the week instead of the weekend to busy & crowded on the weekends. When we camp we use a yurt to camp in. We're to old school to go get a camper or a RV. I saw way to many campers & RVs with Tvs in them and we find that is just pure lazy. One spot pulled up with a really big RV that was loud & very annoying and once they got settled I saw the kid chilling in the hammock with a phone playing games and in my opinion when you go to camp it's suppose to be a tent, no phones or tvs. When I was growing up my parents would take us camping up at Goosepoint and we had tents, sleeping bags n games. In my opinion if you can't rough it for a few days the old school way cuz Goosepoint has so many different things to do & explore and if you have to have a fancy RV that's loud with a TV then stay at home, go to an actual Ev park or just stay in a hotel. Leave Goosepoint to the old school folks who can actually rough it & do camping the correct way. The kids aren't learning anything or exploring nature the correct way by being laid up inside a RV come on people. But over all we had good time, just wish when we go to camp that there were more actual rough & tough campers camping then bunch of lazy rich people.

My only complaint would be some of the day use visitors. I witnessed soiled diapers just discarded on the ground.

This was a very nice experience. It's a well-kept up and very nice setting for a campground.

Our stay was a little on the cool and windy side this visit but we still enjoyed being there. There were several families there from far off states but there was some of the friendliest people that we have met in some time. We hope to be able to have a return visit in the future as this is one of our favorite places to camp

Directions to the site were spot-on. The bathrooms were the cleanest that I have seen anywhere. I really couldn't believe it. The views were amazing. Will definitely come back and recommend it to anyone else traveling through the area.

Waterfront sites Loop C offer great views and proximity to beach, but can be exposed to windy conditions at times. Loop A sites are on top of a hill and generally shaded. The whole area is quite hilly, and may be a challenge for some larger rigs. Good water access for boating and the like.
