we drove in around 3-4pm, no one at gate area, or information about our stay, found our site, which had drink straws, bottle caps, trahs and dead tree debris, which we picked up or pushed off to the side. The camp ground seemed abandon. We saw no one from our arrival until we departed the next day 8-9am. Sadly it seems that and we talked about the fact it seems like a recent large investment in electric and water had been made. The address took us to the lake management office 5 to 10 miles away.

Camping at Salthouse was amazing. The staff was so friendly and the bathhouses were spotless. My grandson was camping with us. He took his kayak out and miles from shore his paddle broke. He called the guardhouse with his dilemma. They sent someone out on a jet ski with replacement. We are so thankful for everyone going the extra mile.

The power new to be fixed, before someones camper burns up. We keep having power dips. Burning up power cords.

Nice stay except for barking dogs. One couple let their dogs bark constantly without doing anything about it. Someone screamed at them and they finally shut them up. I chose not to camp with dogs because of this. I shouldnt have to listen to someone elses dog.

Found a 6 foot black snake in the mens bathroom. But the main problem was barking dogs all weekend.

This has always been one of our favorite campsites. We had lots of family camping with us and had a great time!

campground is an awesome campground lots of kids for the kids to play with good friends its just an awesome campground just has a store just outside the campground which makes it even better if you run out of stuff

Are we had a good weekend camping emmaleigh enjoyed the square main bike ride and playing with the other kids we had a real blast it was fun but except for one thing She got stung by bees by the playground, awesome campers and swimming kayaking all lots of fun and be sure to check out the salt house store just outside the gates good food too

Dont park under the Mocker Nut Tree at camp site 24 especially in the fall. Those suckers are loud bouncing off a Class C camper roof. Everything else about the campground, the lake, the area is Awesome, beautiful, quite, accommodating!

We really like going to Salthouse Branch. Quite and stayed at a different site this time and just enjoy being outdoors.
