Grew up camping here when it was much more primitive. Recently returned for a short weekend trip. The views are unbelievable from this site!!! Hike to Fisher Towers is nearby and insanely beautiful. Watch for climbers on on "Ancient Art." Drive toward Moab and hike to Morning Glory Arch from the Grandstaff Trailhead. A true oasis in the desert. One of my favorite places in the world. Facilities were clean and our group was very pleased with our trip. Will return in the future.

We LOVE this spot! We’ve been 3 times, with several families. It’s beautiful, clean, and set apart from the busyness of Moab.

Great camp host! Beautiful views, close to Moab but far enough away from any crowds. Just sad we got rained out the last couple of days.

Always great, we’ll-maintained sites. Thanks BLM!

We had a great time at Hittle Bottom, despite our pre-teen/teenagers making constant jokes about the name. We had a group of about 16, some in tents and some in a camper, and there was ample space for all the people, tents and vehicles. We definitely used all the tables though. If you are a bigger group I’d recommend bringing extra tables. The views are fabulous and we enjoyed breathtaking sunsets. Lots of great hiking trails within driving distance, and just a short drive to Moab. The only downsides were all the traffic noise (you’re basically right on the highway), and the fire pit is kind of weird. It is huge, with very tall sides. If you have an extra big group, brought a truckload of wood, and want a bonfire, it will be great. But for smaller fires, the heat doesn’t really get out of the pit. Also, everyone driving by thinks the bathrooms are open to the general public. You’ll definitely want to use the provided cable to close the entrance to the site to prevent this. Overall a great experience and would recommend
