We were in site B05 and could not fully enjoy the experience since there were off leash dogs (with no recall/voice control) in sites B06 and B01 so we could not leave our site and go left or right without struggling with off leash dogs. There was another dog in loop A that was fully browsing other campsites without any owner oversight. We only book campgrounds that require leashes and we keep encountering this. It's really frustrating for us that work really hard on training our dogs but one still fears dogs due to being attacked by off leash dogs.

A few things to note about this campground -- the nearest good sized town with services is about an hour west in Roseburg; the bugs are terrible; there was no toilet paper in the restrooms; and the large campground is not hosted.

Campsite was adequate for our needs; nothing special. Vault toilets are acceptable - I've used those before. Unfortunately the campsite did not have large dumpsters for trash, but rather large circular plastic tubs with lids and trash was regularly overflowing onto the ground and getting picked at by animals. We visited Crater Lake during the day and while the drive wasn't bad, it would be nice to have been closer. Lesson for next time.
