We stayed here during our visit to Crater Lake. It was the perfect distance away if you dont luck out with a camp spot inside the state park. Our campsite was so picturesque and right on the water! Being right across from the bathrooms had its pros and cons; the neighbors were a tad noisy at night. The water splashing on the rocks at night can either be music to your ears, or keep you up all night. No mosquitos during the first week of September but as soon as the sun goes down the flies, moths, etc come on like crazy! Our citronella candle turned into a flying bug graveyard and you couldnt have light on without being bombarded. The trash cans were super protected and the showers were alright. Overall, worth the money.

Bathrooms were filthy. No toilet paper for days even though they were marked as having been cleaned. Bike path around lake is very nice.

Beautiful location, friendly staff and hosts. Many spots are better suited for tent camping as it would be very difficult to level an RV, but we lucked out and found a level, unreserved spot right next to the lake.

Site G023 was good. Pad sits above the site with a south-west exposure with a great view of the lake but not much for shade except for trees immediately adjacent to the shoreline. Slight drop-off to get to the water but then water is shallow for a decent distance and good for kids. Visit in mid-july was quite warm with lack of shade and afternoon winds were more noticeable with lack of trees at the site. Lake loop was easy for kids (age6-14), facilities were well kept and swim areas were very nice.
