Diamond lake camping site is quiet and nice. Everything was convenient. The toliet can be cleaner though. We were there in mid August and it says the bathroom door the last time they cleaned it was June. Otherwise, it is extremely enjoyable.

There's a lack of parking in the sites that state 2 vehicles and up to 8 people allowed. In most of the sites there's only room for 1 vehicle if you have an RV. This causes you to have to park in the overflow parking areas: not ideal or desirable. We'd give it 5 stars except for the sites being too small/crowded for 8 people and 2 vehicles. The campsite patrol is a bit overly intrusive too. Other than those 2 issues, it was nice. The lake is beautiful and the bike trail around the lake was fun.

We booked late and stayed in 3 sites over 3 nights. All 3 sites were well maintained and had great access to the lake. It was just a short drive to Crater Lake and Mt. Thielsen was an amazing hike.
