The space was great. Right on the lake. We saw ducks, squirrels, otters and bats. Lots of bats. As soon as the sun goes down they come out. Be prepared to duck a few times as they come right at your head :). Mosquitos were bad, not horrible but definitely have bug spray or something. The bathrooms close to the campsite are portables, but they were clean. This site is pretty private too. The showers are hot and clean for the women. My husband said all the handles were broke in the mens bathroom so he got a cold shower. Overall great. We plan to come back and stay at this site again.

The lake view next to the camping site was amazing. Tried pizza near to the camping site and it was delicious

It was the worst camp ground my wife and I have ever stayed in. When we arrived there was no one at the entrance booth. A camp site host passing by gave us a map and left. Here is a list of things that made our stay at your park not enjoyable.1) The camp site was very uneven and hard to get a tent level for sleeping.2) The two bathroom nearest our camp site was out of order. 3) The closest bathroom had no toilet paper for two days.4) The women's side had not been cleaned since 06/27/2023, the men's side since 07/10/20235) The closest water spigot was about a quarter mile away from our site.6) The men's side of the bathroom had broken and rusted parts all over the fixtures and smelled of urine. I went to bathrooms from drop toilets that were cleaner than these toilets.7) The sign in the women's side of the bathroom read: If you had a problem they wanted you to E Mail them with a picture and a written description of the problem.. HARD TO TO IF YOU DO NOT HAVE INTERNET ACCESS IN THE PARK. No One at the booth to talk to.8) For our three night stay at the park Not one person was available to discuss these problems to.If here was a way to ask for our money back I would.

Our site was huge, had enough spots for 3 6-person tents (there were 5 of us), our 2 dogs, right on the lake and across from bathrooms/water. Lake was extremely windy mid-afternoon nearly every day, very smoky but that comes with the territory of camping during wildfire season and not the campground’s fault. Camping was alright, trout are very large when you can catch one. Pretty buggy; mosquitos, gnats in swarms but they go away for parts of the day, and lots of spiders and weird large bugs I’ve never seen before…definitely treat your gear and bring spray. Firewood at the resort is $12/bundle so it’s best to forage your own and there is a lot of it around this campground but bring an axe and a strong arm for sure. Bathrooms are very clean and free of flies with flush toilets and a sink with running water. Over wood good experience.
