This was an excellent location because it was clean, it was as it was stated in the description and it was an excellent camping site with the layout and the trail.

The camp hosts were amazing and very accommodating. They even came and helped us with our trash at the end of our stay. Campsite was clean upon arrival.

The campsite is easy to access and has long driveways for your camper. The restrooms were very clean and even smelled good. One issue was the cow pies seemingly everywhere... They also have a "Discovery Trail" that was fun to take the kids on. We loved being close to the Fifth Water Hot Springs hike. The campsites are fairly spread out. The elevation isn't too different from the valley, so we didn't experience much of a temperature drop. They do have large trees, but depending on your campsite you may or may not be getting shade.

Diamond Campground is a very beautiful place. We stayed in a mostly covered tree area and it was perfect for the summer heat! We had teenagers with us and they loved the accessible river not so far away from our campsite. We would stay here again!
