A022 is the spot we had, overall a nice area. The downside to this site (A022) there are alot of bushes with thorns. So watch for that before you set a tent. Will hold 3 smaller Tents comfortably. Decent shade in spots.

Due to unforeseen medical issues, I canceled this reservation online, through my app, but Recreation.gov did not refund my money. Unfortunate for my wallet AND for someone else who could have benefited by using the campsite for the very busy Labor Day weekend.

The site was nice as usual but the camp host was selected on who he enforced the rules on. There was a large group that was loud until 1 or 2am and they had no respect for your site as they just used it as a pass through. There were people that had animals that invaded your camp and their dogs were in friendly and other campers shooting BB guns. All and all it was not as nice of a time as other years. We will be looking for a different place to camp in the future.

Great campground. Potentially very quiet and peaceful. But we had a group of raging #$! holes running an old noisy generator all day, till 9pm, and starting again at 8 am. A pox on them and anyone else who does the same. You are ruining others experience.
I did not downgrade the rating due to the noisy generator, since they technically followed the rules, and it is a reflection of their poor character, not a problem with the campground.
The area is beautiful, and a small creek runs through the campground. When generators are not running you can hear it easily.
We have a 27ft trailer that we had no trouble getting into and through the site, and easily backed it into our camp site.
I would stay here again, hopefully without a generator nearby.
