Second night there was a couple arguing, one took off in the truck, sure he was drunk, yelling "Melanie". We left early as we had not had a good time at all. When leaving we all yelled "BYE MELANIE" We will not be going back to this camp ground. We did let the host know and nothing was done. We have been going there for 5 years now. We did miss our old camp host.... Wayde was amazing!
WARNING: Plan on walking in, inspect and make a plan to get in and then back out. You don't want to get stuck.
For some sites, the table and fire pit are up a steep grade (NO steps/stairs). Online photos are misleading. When it's raining, it'll be easy to slip and fall down the hill. Good luck on getting your cooler, food and gear up to the table.
The two group sites (7 & 8) are right on top of each other. There is a steep incline and no steps to access site 7 from site 8.
Overall, the camp is very scenic and peaceful. Note, not every campsite has access to the (seasonal?) stream.
Restrooms (vault type) are not centrally located (next to the group sites at the far end). No garbage service, plan on packing out. On our visit, no camp host.
Grantsville is a short drive away, but is limited on services. Nearest Sani-dump is in Tooele.
We had intermittent, one bar of signal for our Verizon phones in site 6.
