This is a beautiful place, right next to a small creek. Its actually a double site, even though the website doesnt say that. It can hold up to 16 people and it comes with 2 paid parking spaces. You can easily fit more than 2 cars. That said, we put our tent in the parking area because there wasnt room for a big tent elsewhere. The parking area for this site is big though. It also has 2 picnic tables, a fire pit, a metal bbq stand for Dutch oven cooking, and of course the yurt. Its really fantastic! There is a water spigot next to the wood port-a-potty.The only drawback (and its a big one) is that you hear cars for several hours every night. Its people who miss the turn into the parking lot for the Mount Timp hike. They turn around right where the camp is when they realize they missed the turn. It was like this from about 11pm-1am every night. Cars going by and people shouting to other people in the cars which way to go. It really made it so we couldnt sleep well. It was a 3-day weekend so Im sure it was worse than normal but it was definitely annoying. It was bad enough that we will look for a different place next time we want to camp up AF canyon.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet, the comfortable beds, and listening to the steam at night. Not having to set up a tent made camping a lot easier. There was a nice parking area for when the rest of the family joined us the next morning. The hosts were friendly. This is the way to camp. It was worth a little extra money.

We recently stayed at this amazing campsite in the mountains and had an unforgettable experience! We were set up in a yurt at campsite 30, which was clean and beautifully maintained. The setting was absolutely stunning, with a cool, refreshing mountain climate that was a welcome escape from the heat of the valley below. Our campsite had a gorgeous stream flowing through it, adding to the serene atmosphere. We couldnt hear or see any other campers, making it feel like our own private oasis. The time spent with my wife and our five boys was magical. We made wonderful memories cooking dinner and roasting s'mores over the campfire. One of the highlights was hiking up to Scout Falls, which provided breathtaking views and a fun adventure for the whole family. Playing around the campsite, exploring the natural beauty, and just enjoying each others company made this trip truly special.Overall, this campsite exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend it for anyone looking to escape into nature and create lasting family memories. We cant wait to come back!

This is a group site, so more expensive than others, but also very private and on the creek. Go back in the woods a bit and there's a perfect spot by the creek to hang your hammock
