Great campground in a fabulous location on the scenic loop, which you can take from American Fork Canyon all the way around to Provo Canyon for a visit to Sundance. Sundance has an outdoor outfitter offering many fun activities. Ride the Gondola up to the top of the mountain, mountain bike down, after noshing on the delicious nachos at the Bearclaw cabin. Make sure to chat with the very knowledgeable campground hosts, Mike & Nola. I expect campground hosts to have a lay of the land, useful area maps for hiking and exploring, and up to date information on what's happening in the area. For instance, I was going to visit the Ranger station in Pleasant Grove, Mike & Nola saved me the trip letting me know the station was closed due to covid. They also supplied me with a little extra fire wood from a previous camp that had checked out! For my particular stay, I preferred sites in the B loop. A loop seemed to be a bit on the noisy side.
