Love staying up at The Berry! Nice having power, sewer and water at our site!

outdated site description...site says fits trailer length up to 45' site is 50' total. Completely off by 15', our 32' trailer fit to the road which did not allow a 1 vehicle parking as stated in site description. We were forced to pay for an open spot across the street for to park our vehicle which was $50 a night, or walk from the parking spot clear down the camp site everytime we needed to drive.

Strawberry Bay was very nice. To our surprise, each of the sites in Loop B has full hook-ups (water, electricity, and sewer). I was under the impression from the site that it was only electric and this was a nice surprise. We didn't fish but still benefited from the prolific salmon in the reservoir. Our nice neighbor gave us a couple of fresh filets and they were delish! The sites are fairly open and there are few trees, but the privacy/windscreens around the picnic tables offered some protection from the neighbors who weren't terribly close. The sites are further apart than you'd find at a typical KOA or private RV park, but a bit closer and more open than a state park. Bathrooms were clean and plentiful. Hiking in the area is nice and near the end of June (peak season) we encountered not a soul on a 6-mile hike. The marina, however, seems busy.

Great location and campground for full services. The beauty of the lake and trails to walk make this one of the best locations. The fishing in the lake is fantastic especially if you have a boat.

When we arrived, the site was a mess! There was a dead bird, feathers, bird feces all over the picnic table. We went to the camp host that was on the site next to us. When we told him that we needed it clean, he and his wife chuckled and said "Well you're out in nature." YES! I know I'm out in nature but that's why I pay a fee to rent the site, so that when I arrive, the campsite should be cleaned out. All they had to do was clean it up and NOT argue with me. They came later to clean it up but it totally ruined our camping experience.
