First off I never camp in designated camp areas, but our camp hosts for loop D&C were amazing and the couple that runs the marina at soldier Creek were awesome

We had the best time! The campground managers were awesome, the kids had so much fun just hanging out around the campsite, we felt like we had plenty of privacy. Our campsite was super clean, there werent even bugs! We have xfinity and we had great service! We cant wait to come again!

The campground loop A has lots of young pine trees to provide a little shade and privacy from other campers. The campground hosts were pleasant. The temperature was about 20 degrees cooler than down in town.

It was overall a great camping site. It had restrooms with running water and soap. However, the soap easily runs out and the mens toilet in the restroom. The site had access to a boat ramp which is also nice. The creek has craw fish and other fish in it so fishing is great. We were able to catch both craw fish and rainbow trout. Cons, there is minimal shade or trees. There arent a ton of hikes nearby and many if the lots arent level so tent camping can be a bit rough. Also the recreation.gov doesnt provide an address or great directions to the campsite.

Nice scenic campground, but for the return on investment I will look elsewhere. I don't intend to whine and really like Sheryl the host, but sites A9, A12, A14 were littered with golfer/rabbit holes, the size a femur can be broken in if walking in the dark, or a small dog to disappear in. Nice to have flushing restrooms, but the door closer was broken on the mens side and all needed some sort of repair. The absolutely worst part; very busy marina below and busy camping area, 3 out of 4 RV dumps were broken the weekend before the 4th of July. After dumping the one operable dump cover locked and would not release, I only waited a short time, but others pulled in and had to wait a very long time with no way to pull around or backup. Beautiful place that our tax dollars have already paid for, only to see lack of support on the website, no person to ask questions prior to visit, and short on repairs/staff. Not to mention you cannot camp in the middle of the week, you must pay for a full weekend regardless. Hoping something will change.

No water and toilets were locked up. Camp host told us to use the bathroom at the marina but it was locked too. Should get a refund

Had a really good experience ! We had 2 other family members that had two sites next to us. We do have dogs, and the camp hosts were really friendly and accommodating ! The nights were cold, but the views of the reservoir were great ! Lots of wild life ! We camp there every year ! Thank you , Brian Williams

Great view, working toilets and water. Went late May so lots of bugs (but not mosquitoes). Enjoyed fishing.

Unfortunately, because it was cold and rainy the first 2 days, we packed up and didn't get to stay the whole time that we paid for. Otherwise it was a really nice campground. Everything was well kept, and the camp hosts were wonderful. Would definitely stay again, hopefully with better weather.

I love this campground. My problems are these. The dump station for the campground only has 2 of the 4 lanes open. It has been like this all year. Also the urinal in the mens bathroom by spot 30 has been broken for 2 years no sign of repairs. The fish cleaning station has been closed for 2 years. Where are the fees going for the campground if the facilities are not being repaired. Every year it seems more run down. I hope this changes.

Great shade and spot. Spot density was higher than most locations but worked great for us.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
