Sulphur Campground was quiet and had plenty of room for my trailer. I rented two sites without any issues. The campground was well maintained, and the bathrooms were very clean. The campground host, Glenda, was very friendly and helpful. She warned us about a bees nest in the ground and told us to watch for moose that frequent the campground.

Bathrooms were really clean. I gave 3 stars because we were expecting the campground to have water after memorial day, We went June 13th, but there was none. There is also a BIG pothole in the road coming into the campground that could be very dangerous for kids on bikes. We had an enjoyable time other than that.

Nice campground and the hosts are very friendly. I showed up at 1:30 and someone random was eating lunch at my site. Oookay. Did the hike to Bourbon Lake instead. I recommend getting an ODD numbered site (if you can) because the evens had zero shade. I was at site 8 and from 3:30-7:30 I had to sit in the shade of my car because it was otherwise completely in the sun. My across the road neighbors at site 9 had plenty of shade though.

As a reminder, even if you have a reservation you still need to buy a mirror lake highway pass— most other National and state parks have that included with a reservation, but not here.
