When we arrived at Christmas Meadows at 10:30 p.m., our spot was taken because the campground hosts had failed to label our reservation, and they weren't even there to resolve the issue. Two people are responsible for running 9 campgrounds and are obviously struggling to keep up with all of them. We set up at an open spot that wasn't marked reserved either. The next day, we had to relocate after setting up our campsite because that one was also reserved and not marked. Pretty frustrating when we scheduled a month in advance and paid for our site.

Having private companies make huge profits off of public land and infrastructure is a crime. Utah Recreation is a horrible company that should not be running public areas for a (very large) profit

There was no camp host this year. The toilets were not as clean as in the past and are getting run down. They also were very full and needed empty. Not as enjoyable as it has been in the past.
Wonderful experience at a great location that we always love to enjoy! The camp host is amazing and we are so glad to see him every year. He does a phenomenal job at caring for the facility and making us feel welcome. We love the location and the hiking opportunities it provides.
The area is small, and it's a rough road lasting 4 miles. It you are towing a camper be ready, and we had site# 11. This site is on a slope, so leveling your trailer is a joke. I asked the attendant about this, and he said most people lowers the tongue to the ground and put as many level tiles as you can under your tires. Wow. This area needs to be graded. The toilets and the area was clean. There was a yapping dog ?? next door and I also told him I will not stand by and listen to a dog barking like this as I am on vacation. He said there is not a lot I can do, but he did go over and talk to them. They left the next day.

We have been going to this campground for many years. Clark the Camp host is a Familiar and very friendly face we enjoy seeing every year. Please Keep that Man happy and do what ever you can to keep him there.
The Forest Service needs to do something about the out of control parking at the Trail head Just south of the Christmas Meadows Camp ground. This is suppose to be an area a vehicle with a Horse trailer or travel trailer can turn around and head back down the road. People are parking there cars blocking the already narrow road and you can not get past and you are stuck. This is a safety hazard and if there is a emergency and people need to leave the area, that can happen. No parking signs need to be posted and citations issued to keep the road open and that loop open so trucks with trailers can get turned around.

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
