This is a wonderful campground. There is great shade from the trees, it is close to the lake, and it is close to several beautiful hiking trails ATV trails and scenic drives. The campground is perfect for trailers, especially toy haulers.

Dave the camp host has really worked hard to make the campground a really nice place. He is very welcoming and friendly. We are going back for sure.

Great campground with close proximity to SLC. Not a lot of people. Beautiful views. Lots of possibilities for dispersed camping on the road going in and out as well.

A beautiful, quiet, peaceful, relaxing, and totally enjoyable location with plenty of space between sites. Lots of shade from tall pine trees with a few mostly sunny sites. Plenty of space for tents under shady pines and a few sites with grassy areas in the aspens. Many fire pits are in dis-repair and missing metal-ring inserts with movable grill tops. Picnic tables and raised grills at each site. Many short sites and several 'double' sites to accommodate larger trailers or motorhomes. Our 30' TT had plenty of room and would fit in many nice sites. We prefer the sunnier locations for our solar array. Minor leveling may be necessary, but mostly level sites. Water spigots located throughout the campground. Beautiful lake for fishing, paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking, and boating, Water is all winter run-off so swimming is not recommended. Plentiful of trails for hiking, mountain biking, single-track and ATV riding. Only concerning drawback is the smelly and disgusting, fly saturated single, multi-stall toilet facility - but what does one expect from a vault toilet house? Dump station with potable and non-potable water is available for fee ($15) within 1/2 mile on North Slope Rd.

Beautiful location

Comfortable campground right next to the reservoir. I wish there was a designated tent side that was separate from the RVs, the running generators all night was hard to sleep through.

Nice campground with a mix of shade coverage througout the sites. We chose a "lakefront" site that has grown in since the photos I found in my research. Still, there was a path down to the waterfront right next to our site. Easy access to walk down with our chairs to watch the sunset in front of the lake. Temps got into the low 40s at night; even over the July 4th weekend and week. Elevation is well over 9000 feet, so expect cold evenings.There was no camp host at the site. The host and the next campground down the road was handling the duties, which made for a bit of a change in plans. We always try to buy firewood at the site, but there was none available. We had to drive back into town to load up on firewood for the week. Make sure you do the same. There is a great family-run grocery store in Mopuntain View, WY called Benedict's. Great place to stock up on any essentials you might want or need.One restroom with stall toilets (no plumbing) for the entire site, but this wasn't an issue (no lines). They were a bit under-maintained and the flies were definitely present. This is to be expected with stalls. Having a dedicated camp host might have made this less of a nuisance. If we come back this way, we would definitely stay here again, but with better preparation and different expectations.

Great . Weekend was busy and Monday seemed lonesome. Hated going home .

Nice place to visit and camp. Was not a fan of the stateline campground since numerous campsite users used loud open generators that sound like cracking tin cans rattling. I go camping to escape the noisy sounds of the city and don't want to listen to these annoying open generators. Left the stateline campground and found more quiet dispersed camping in my campervan up the dirt road towards China Meadows.

We had previously booked sites at Moon Lake that were cancelled about two weeks before our campout. We scrambled to find someplace to go and found openings at Stateline Campground. I am always nervous about going somewhere I have never been or seen before. Nothing worse than dragging all your stuff to a campsite and there is not enough room for your equipment. That being said we booked three sites one of them being a double site just for extra peace of mind. Ironically when we arrived someone was occupying the double site we reserved and we we approached them they informed us that the Camp Host had given them that site because they had to much stuff for the site they originally reserved at a near by campground. We went and found Cara our camp host and she was very apologetic and did everything she could for us to make us comfortable. We decide to take another site closer to the other two we had reserved and it worked out better for us in the long run. Cara made sure I was reimbursed for the money spent at the double site and all is well. Campground was clean, quite, and we had a great relaxing time. Thank you again Cara for all your help. We had a good time. We understood the camp host had left but the other hosts from bridger and marsh were very helpful and went above and beyond. The camp was organized and clean.

Terry Simpson, the campground host, made this trip awesome for us. As soon as we pulled in, he helped us pick out the best spot for our family of 5. The kids had a great time setting up a hammock and exploring the nearby trails down to the water. The water was low, but we spent all afternoon there one day, just playing on the "beach" and diving into the water. The misquitos were not as bad as I would have expected and overall, a great place. We'll be back for sure. Thanks again, Terry! You're the best!

They really need to do something about the lack of privacy here. I wish they would build rustic log blinds or something similar between back to back spots because you are watching your neighbors do their business the whole time. There are vault toilets, and there was no potable water. Also, the dump station across the road was closed. But you can’t beat the closeness of the reservoir. Also, China Meadows was just 3 miles up the road, so we went fishing there every day. Great location, beautiful aspens and pines, close to good fishing. Camp host was good. The pine beetles have really destroyed a lot of the forests, which is a bummer. Also, the dirt road inside the national forest was crazy bumpy. I wish they would pave it. If I could give 3.5 stars, I would. Four is too generous with the rocky road, vault toilets, non-potable water, closed dump station, and lack of privacy. Three is too low because I would stay here again, no problem.

The area is beautiful with many trails to access by ATV, horseback, or hiking. The fishing is outstanding and the campground are very nice.

We loved our time here! The campground was great. Really close to the water!! Our only complaint was that there were SO many mosquitos! We will go back just later in the season! We also didn't get greeted by the camphost until we left when he told us about all of the other perks that came with staying at the camp. Other than that we loved it here and will go back as soon as we can! :)

The camp host was very helpful, more than willing to help.
The only thing that was a downer was the lake was really low. So lots of mud and a little hard to access.
There are a lot of other lakes in the area and lots of exploring to do.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
