Great cabin and wonderful location. Be ready for bears as they come close by.
Would do again. Wifi sucks though.

The cabin was in very good order overall. Campers, please take all of your trash and leftover food. Mice love oatmeal packets, cup o noodles, and paper products. Pack it in-pack it out. Pretty simple. We hauled a lot of trash and leftovers out that were there from previous users.

Great location, under trees, next to the lake, trails north to Admiralty Cove and south to South Young Lake. Clean cabin, row boat, outdoor fire area, etc. The cabin seemed dark although there were three windows, but being under the trees keep some light out. The recommendations for the amount of fuel needed were accurate. Just a ten minute flight from Juneau, but it's expensive to charter even for that short distance.

This is a really nice cabin! We hiked up from Admiralty Cove cabin after kayaking from Juneau via FOP to Admiralty Island. Stowed our kayaks, spent the night at AC cabin, spent the next night at N Young Lake, then the following at AC cabin again. It is a very nice cabin in very good shape, and someone had kindly left us firewood! Would be a terrific fly-in cabin for those with the funds. Good boat with decent oars, Area around the outside of the cabin was clean and tidy with a nice fire ring that we put to use after a dip in the water! We were there in August. Didn't see bears but saw lots of sign, heard what we think was a loon.

Nice cabin, really appreciate the fly-in cabin opportunity and the seclusion it provides, within just a few minutes flight of Juneau.

The sights were amazing! The cabin was perfect. We caught salmon and trout from the steam and the lake. Do bring bear protection and rain gear. Overall, it was an awesome experience.
