Quiet place to relax for the weekend. Would have given it a 5 if the facilities were working (toilets/showers). It did appear that they allow long-term camping. Saw several campers moving loads of crap from one site to another (far more stuff than just a weekend or week stay) while we waited for the campers in our site to move all their stuff (2 hrs of moving) to an open site just two spaces down. It just made those spaces look shoddy. Not a good look for the campground.

Always enjoy this park. Had a problem with restrooms overflowing and hadto close it down. Luckily we were at a site with sewage.

This park is small and can be very windy. This spot has shade but I got infested with Ants this last visit. Bring some kind of ant control. There are also a lot of spiders for some reason this time of year August. Power went down for 2+ hours and when I called to report it and gave the address of the Park they could not find it in their system. The customer service is automated so it's a computer that will ask you over and over for your "Account Number" or meter number. If you want to swim and bank fish the lake this is not the park for you. But you can bank fish some of the creek. YMMV.

One of our favorite COE's. Quiet, clean, large sites, friendly host.

This was a very quiet and very clean campground. The park hosts came through the campsites several times to check on the campers and to make sure everyone was enjoying their weekend. If you are looking for an out of the way quieter place to camp around Granger Lake I highly recommend this one.

This is a quiet well groomed RV park but it has very few shade trees. I mean… Texas summers have sweltering heat. I had the unfortunate experience of camping here in June with sunny 104 degree days, to say nothing of the heat index. Shade trees could have knocked the misery index down by a lot. Otherwise, I would have given this campground 4 stars.

Excellent camp! Quiet & peaceful. Not too far from Belton, Round Rock, and Leander.

The reason that I am only giving a three star rating is because we had to move from our original site(22/sewer connection) to site 23( no sewer connection). The reason that we had to move is because the electrical breaker kept tripping off. This is a problem that we experienced on several occasions in past years. There doesn’t seem to be any effort put into upgrading the electricity at the parks on Granger Lake. All of the sites have 30 AMP electrical hook ups. We have used campsites at other parks in this area(GEORGETOWN, BASRTOP), and they all have 30, and 50 AMP hook ups. Most people who visit the parks today, have newer RVs and TRAVEL TRAILERS. They often require much more than 30 AMP hook ups. When I mentioned our electrical problems to the staff, I was told that they were aware of the problem, however, they stated that they thought the issue had been resolved. There doesn’t seem to be any communication regarding the status of repair work. The sites need to be taken offline until repairs are made, and verified. The restroom and shower areas need to be maintained better. There was only one restroom that was clean and didn’t smell bad. The only good comments I have are in regards to the front gate staff. They were instrumental in making sure that we were able to get another site, and have an enjoyable weekend. In closing, the people who oversee the parks, the decision makers, need to do a better job in regards to allocating funding and resources so that park visitors are getting their moneys worth. We deserve safe, clean, and fully functional parks and facilities.

We took 4 kids where were expecting to fish and go swimming. There wasn’t a place to fish unless you have a boat. There was zero place to swim even though the website clearly states there’s a swimming spot.
