Park was clean and well taken care of. We were just there overnight. The park was easy to get to from the highway.

Park was clean, often saw volunteers taking care of things like rest rooms, trash, boat launch etc. Quiet, no loud chaos, and this was over Xmas and New Years Eve. Would recommend again

Nice place and very nice camp host. We enjoyed this place and only wish the lake was not so low.

Beautiful small park lots of trees . Seems to attract lots of fishermen has a great boat ramp. Bathrooms were clean. The volunteers are great they come around several times a day just checking to keep the park secure. Will definitely come back.

only problem was a tenant that did not have dog on leash, was aggressive, told volunteer, said would take care fo, next day same dog was aggressive towards me not on leash

The grass was not cut and was knee high. Making the bugs and mosquitos so terrible, we were hidding in the rv the whole time. My husband went home to get the mower to cut some of the grass near the campsite because it was so high all around it but that didnt help. We couldnt enjoy the lake area at all out of fear of snakes and bugs because the grass was taller than me closer to the water. We left after one night even though we paid for three. It was the worse experience I have had camping.

This campground has a lot of potential to be a nice place to visit. We had site 1 which doesnt have much shade (which we knew, just a heads up). Our main issues were that the grass was knee high right out of the campsite. There were ant mounds everywhere, but hidden due to the high grass, the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting.. you couldnt pay me enough to even walk into one of them again, and some issues with lose boards at the picnic area. We didnt swim in the lake because the water didnt look all that great. We drove over to the Wilson Fox side and went swimming in the beach area, the bathrooms over there were just as bad. The gate attendant was super friendly and drove around quite a bit. She also threw some frisbees out to the campers with kids so they had a new toy to play with. I will say she gave everyone that came in wrong directions, she said its the 3rd left but really its the 1st. I think she was counting the volunteer sites as lefts, no biggy. Overall for a short weekend it was a fun getaway, just a bit disappointed with the lack of upkeep at this particular park.

We had a great location for night 1 despite the rain and cold weather and then burn ban. Night 2 we had a large family show up and take over 3 spots, some were not designated to them. They had obviously not been camping prior to this because they had zero respect regarding noise levels, where their kids wandered off to and messing with their campsite neighbor's dogs. I think it would have been nice if someone was driving around regulating specific behavior. We had beautiful weather Saturday and stayed inside our RV the entire time due to their noise level and disrespect. Other than our neighbors, we had a great time and loved the camp site. Unfortunately we will not be back.
