Its unimaginable! We have never felt more welcomed and accommodated. Dave and Nita Joe and Cindy and of course Craig! We have recently retired and started our adventure. We have found a new family, which were most thankful for. They work harder than Im sure the job requires. They dont just sit in the booth. Although thats required. They do it all.! Always feel safe. Sometimes even on their day off, they always have a presence keeping the park. perfect. Best Park Hosts we could imagine! Well, I would never take the time to extend kudos to those that dont deserve it. But I think this is worthwhile time spentspending time at Willis Creek Park is a blessing. Give credit where credit is due. I think most would agree. Its a great experience..

Beautiful park, small and quiet. Deer and armadillos are a true Texas experience. The park host are absolutely the best. We met Craig on our first trip and he has been extremely helpful and full of knowledge. The time we have spent here will definitely be repeated. Our new favorite place to camp!

Had a very nice time during my stay. One complaint that I hope they can resolve is that there are only 8 of the 28 spots being used and I can only stay 14 days in a 30 day period. During the off season there should be different terms. By doing this, they could fill more spots for a longer period.

Views were great. Wish the grass had been mowed. We stayed at site 17 which was great but the picnic area flooded when it rained.

This is the worst kept ACE campground that we have ever seen. The gate was open when we arrived at 2:30 in the afternoon, no camp host on duty at the guard house. We knew our site number so we went to it. Camp host showed up about 2 hours later to give us a parking pass. 3 dumpsters overflowing. What ever you do, do NOT use the bathrooms! The men’s reeked of urine and the showers were filthy. The woman’s was filthy, unflushed toilets. Enough to make you throw up. The roads were in disrepair with large ruts. On the good side, the trails were very nice and scenic.

The easiest place so far in Texas. No weird check in and we could go late. Windy. Small though, easy to navigate. Loved it!

Site was a good location. Grass was tall and had not been cut in a log while. Picnic Table area was very dirty needed a shovel and broom to clean. Mosquitoes were terrible . Staff was very friendly.

Camp ground is cared for, however there is little shade and low water right now. Only a few places to bank fish close to camp.
