Great place overall. The only small detail, I was tent camping and there was a lot of light shining all night.

A very good dark park for star gazing. Not listed as a dark park but I was able to see all planets, constellations, and 6 satellites per night.

This used to be my go to park for many years. Recently it has deteriorated beyond my belief. First off, knee high grass everywhere on the campground. Secondly, the restrooms had feces and urine on the floor, and it just smelled of piss so bad. Terrible the way it has gone down. After seeing this last weekend, I cancelled my upcoming reservation and opted to go to union grove park. Hope that they can improve things here

Nice, small well kept park. Water views and some access to waterline adequate for kayaks and canoes, boat ramp in park. Covered tables, firepits and grills all very well kept. Was able to see migrating geese that took off from stopover at the lake. Site 11 mostly level. Only issue for me, is a huge bright light that is on all night right over that site. Nice quiet park, will stay again but in a site away from the one bright light.

Camped in a pop-up camper in January. Both 30 and 20A electric connections. Had both a standing metal grill and a ground level fire pit. Water faucet did not leak. Very clean. Dumpsters were not overflowing. Toilets were flush toilets and had toilet paper supplied. Water in showers was nice and warm. Interesting nuance in the showers; they had electronic triggers with variable timing. One push turned the shower on and it ran for two minutes. A second push would turn the shower on for another two minutes. After the second push, they would not run again for several minutes. Firewood was plentiful due to the numerous trees washed in during floods. Near the campsites, the creek is about 15 yards wide and navigable by small power boats and canoes.
