I love Russell Park! It's so close to home, and easy to just pop over and camp for a night. The views are beautiful, facilities are decent, and it feels very safe.

hello, me and my boyfriend had such a good time there and one thing i loved the most was i lost my phone on our way back from the hike. it got so dark and i couldnt see anything but when my boyfriend called my phone several times a worker picked my phone call and told me that he was just writing the report for the lost and found i was so relieved i cant express it. i just wanna say im so happy and thankful for kind heartedness. he brought the phone to the campsite as well! thank you so much i cant wait to stay there again

Campsite 21 - great views, quiet neighbors. I wish the camp sites were a little further apart and/or some vegetation to create a sense of privacy. Tmobile cell service was decent, bathrooms not too far. Coveted area with a picnic table was great and we made use of both the fire ring with grate and bbq grill. I'll be back for sure!

The campsites are nice and large with large trees or shrubbery to create a better sense of privacy. The bathrooms were alright and they had showers, which is always a plus. The campsites all have a pavilion and picnic table, as well as a firepit and a grill so you have some shelter and a few cooking options. Overall very nice!

I average a camping night at Russell Park every other week. The sites are well kept and the bathrooms are always clean. Park Hosts Jake and Sandy are amazing and always helpful!

We love camping here!! Bathrooms are clean enough and just a short drive to the rock beach. We love campsite 21 if you have more than one family camping. Plenty of space for 2-3 tents. You really can't go wrong with any of the sites that have the lake view. Lots of birds, deer and we even saw a fox! I recommend camping Saturday into Sunday as it's much less busy than Friday into Saturday.

The site was nice. They have a large paved covered area with a large picnic table. Lots of space to set up our camp kitchen and our dogs crate next to the picnic table. The other campers were ok. We had to listen to someone elses music in the evening and someones drone woke us at 7am. There doesnt seem to be any way to get down to the lake from the camping area. And there wasnt anywhere we could get down to the lake with our dog, as the swim area doesnt allow dogs and the boat launch area already had too many people for social distancing. Theres nowhere to buy firewood on site, or even nearby, which makes it hard to follow the dont move firewood rule.
