Very pretty spot looking at the water . Just not shade whatsoever, but I would still go back.

This is a beautiful campground! The spaces are spacious with plenty of room between sites so you're not right on top of your neighbor like so many places in Calif. Shower and bathrooms were clean and well stocked with TP. The ranger and gate attendant were very nice and helpful.

Be aware that access has changed dur to reconstruction of the Overflow Road. Pretty rough alternate road but my 40 ft Class A did fine, just go slow. RV park is really nice. Well cared for. We were in site 3 with beautiful view of the (depleted) lake. Only 10 minutes from downtown. BTW, highly recommend the restaurant at the Pivovar Hotel. Adjacent to Magnolia silos so great area. Also, recommend a trip to the Texas Rangers museum. Very well done and informative. Highly recommend this park.

A nice park. Sites are well-spaced. Many sites are long enough for a long fifth wheel trailer with plenty of room for the tow vehicle. Downtown Waco is an easy drive.

We have stayed at Speegleville a number of times in the past. This time we found the campground was well tended to. Grass was moved, sites were very clean and raked, and fire pit was cleaned out with nothing left in except for a few ashes. It was a wonderful stay!

Great spot. Really glad we chose here over other parks. Love Nancy and got to meet the owner. Unfortunate to pick up dog poop when I dont own a dog so my kids could play in our vicinity. Close to stores and restaurants near by places deliver. Cool club house and Nancy put bluey on for my kids to watch. Would book again if in the area. We booked here to go to Santas wonderland.east commute.

Very nice campground. We did have issues with fire ants the first day and a half. I think it was because the people that stayed in the site before us left food everywhere, banana peels, buns, pancakes, and twinkies.
