It is a nice park we stayed at Site #27 and could walk down to the lake easily. Lots of wildlife here to watch and enjoy! Its not a large park which we like because of the grandkids playing. The restrooms are really nice compared to other parks. There is no play area for the kiddos but they found plenty to do with the bikes and things. We were bummed we couldnt build a fire in the fire ring but due to fire ban that was understandable. We were able to have a small fire in grill. Would definitely recommend this park to others.

This is a very nice park. I enjoy how close to the lake it is, and how nice the campsites are. The staff is very friendly. The only thig I would like to see are some full hookup sites. It is a hassle to dump every couple of days when we stay longer than two.

Arrived later than planned, but check in was fine. One night only so no sights other than all the deer roaming the park.

Quiet, spacious, beautiful camping area.

Speegleville Park is really laid out great insofar as privacy. In just about all sites, you cannot even see your neighbor directly across due to the way each pad is angled, not to mention ample room between sites. Was delightful to have the herd of deer feeding within yards of our motorhome. The park is well maintained. Was our second visit but certainly not our last.

Love coming here but they dont know how to keep the park mowed. Been here a few times this year and each time the grass was extremely tall and it was also a holiday weekend.

We had planned a weekend getaway for Spring Break and this was one of three parks we planned to visit. When we arrived, the grounds of the park were very well maintained and we were excited. We set up camp, made a fire, and watched the sun set. The problem came when we went to take a shower. All but two of the showers were locked. One of the unlocked showers had no door and the other had no door knob or lock. We planned on having one of us stand by the door while the other showered but then we discovered the water was cold and there was very little water pressure. We had already been camping for a week so we were not looking for several more days of no shower. We could not locate a park ranger or attendant any of the times we went to the front booth. We ended up going home early. I truly think this is something the park should have told us when we booked our campsite. This park definitely needs some TLC and attention.

Showers locked, trash overflowing and smelling like dead animals. Site was clean.
