This is a lovely campground on Waco Lake. It is a confusing to enter as there is a small model airplane park on the right when going down Over Flow Rd, then there is a sign on the right for an RV park and marina that are not the Corp Of Engineer park. Go straight t0 access the entrance to the COE park.

This park was so nice. Very peaceful along Lake Waco, about 12 minutes from downtown attractions made this stop the best. My only complaint is that the grass was knee high and we had a pull through but couldn't pull through when we left because the tree limbs have not been trimmed. It would have scratched the hell out of my RV so we had to back out when leaving. Site 22

Beautiful setting. Bicycling/walking opportunities good. Facilities & RV sites clean, well-maintained. Friendly, helpful staff. Zero complaints.

A beautiful park well maintained with lake Waco views. Sites are groomed between each visitor. There is abundant wildlife to entertain you with interesting sight seeing in Waco. The only real negatives are the shower houses could use a facelift and the almost daily rumblings from testing at spaceX.

Use a surge protector for the safety of your RV. I had power problems at site 22 which were never resolved. I spoke to the gate attendant twice. He said he put in a work order & it was closed out by a park ranger. Supposedly the ranger “attempted” contact at my RV, but somehow, none of the 5 occupants inside heard him knock. My surge protector kept my RV safe and we otherwise enjoyed our stay. We did have to use the RV for all bathroom needs due to the facilities not being usable after the freeze.
