Need better upkeep......................lots of tall grass, wasp nests, fireants, and downed trees at the campsites.

Sites are always clean and ready to go. The workers at the gate are super friendly as well. We love staying here.

It's a beautiful campground. Ann, the campground host, was very very helpful. To function good enough to get a reservation. That takes some patience to help somebody with the phone.

This park appears to have been damaged either through floods or hurricanes and hasn't really recovered, as parts of it appear to be permanently closed off. There are several groups of sites, 2 here, 4 there, which might make it convenient for a small group, and although some of the sites are right on the lake, there seems to be no access to the lake from the sites. The bathrooms are clean but dated. It's really quiet here (some of the other parks on this lake are right near the highway or airport). There is a boat ramp and a day-use area but we didn't see any beach area. The dump station is inconvenient to get to, but doable. It's not up to the level of most of the COE parks we've visited but it's still a good place to be for a few days.

Very Quiet clean flat sites. Foliage harbored major mosquitoes. Did not sit around outside. Spraying against them would be nice.
