Stayed at Twin Dikes for the Big Bass Splash. The conveniences of town so close, and access to the lake were well worth the stay. The park host was very friendly, and check-in was a breeze. We stayed at site 12 and were pleased with our site. It is a short walk to the shoreline of the Big Sam. The park is clean, quiet and well-kept. Will stay again.

The site we were in #12 was unlevel and there was only 1way in for us to be able to get into it.

This is the only 50 AMP FHU site in the campground. There are no trails we'd want to walk on (overgrown badly), no playgrounds and no beach. The vast majority of traffic in the park is the daily traffic of people launching their boats.

Full hookups and great spot, the driveway was a little steep, but doable with our 32ft 5th wheel.

Beautiful area. Originally chose a site at Mill Creek but due to maintenance they were going to be closed when we came. Twin Dikes ended up being closer for us and a nice site. The Camp Host was very welcoming too

Well you are on the lake which is great, but no beach area. Most of the people coming here have boats and go fishing. This site is the only 50AMP full hook-up site in the park, not sure why.

The park is adequate but not nice and I would not return. The RV sites are VERY unlevel, the asphalt is crumbling, there is only one dumpster at the entrance, amd the overall upkeep is sloppy and rundown. However, thing in particular stood out. The first camphosts we met were very nice and helpful. But then another older couple were very rude, angry, and obnoxious. The male was this huge fat man with his fat wife that drove around criticizing everyone and giving orders. When they came driving across the grass to my spot amd started ordering me around I asked if these orders were part of the park rules. He said No, I then asked him to get a park ranger. The issue was about something simple like where my truck was parked and firewood Id stacked next to the Firepit. He drove off saying, Ill let it go this time but not tomorrow. Since I was leaving the next day it didnt matter. WORST CAMP HOSTS IVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. You really need to investigate this bc the old man and his wife had serious problems.

We had the only 50amp full hookup site, they need to add more. Fire ants and love bugs are plentiful.

Great site. We were there for a large fishing tournament and found this location to be perfect for all our needs. Very clean and well maintained and monitored. I appreciate the value of having gate personnel who monitor a park for items to maintain as well as to watch out for those camping. We have already booked future dates.

Nice small park in the piney woods. It's kinda far away from things but you are right on one of the best lakes in the country.

the main attraction on this trip was that we had access to a cabin. It made putting on our Thanksgiving meal very easy, parked right next to it. The other good point is that it was hooked up to the sewer system, so no dump station visits for us. On the downside: the bank to the lake is very steep rocks and not easy to maneuver. No place to beach the boat and the boat ramp is about a mile away. Also there is no playground for the kids.
