Nice water views and lovely small town (Sam Rayburn).

We camped here while my son participated in school fishing tournament. We were very pleased with our experience as our first time visitors. The check in process was easy and park host were very friendly and helpful. The park is very well maintained and has great view of lake.

It is located off a main road, so within a 5 minute drive you are at a dollar general, within a 7 minute drive you have restaurants, which is convenient. There was a hike we were able to do which was approximately 15 minutes away. We still had signal and I was able to do my graduate school homework during our stay.

This is our favorite place to camp..our favorite spot is #7 ..only thing I have to complain about is the holes in the asphalt on #7..it would be nice if it could be repaired

It's a beautiful wooded site by the lakeshore. Our paved site could use a little work. It's crumbling away on one side and there was a pothole, but we were able to make it work. We had full hookups. There was a concrete picnic table under a covering and a fire ring with a grill. Restrooms with showers were close by.There is a boat ramp nearby in the park. Some restaurants, stores, and a laundromat were less than a mile up the road. The TV reception is really bad. I had to run an antenna up into a tree to get any stations. Our Verizon signal was just OK.I would stay here again.

This is a beautiful location on Sam Rayburn reservoir. There are three loops here. Loops A & B were open. The other loop was closed. Loop A is full of hookups and Loop B is water and electric only, but there is a dump station upon exiting the park. The park itself is clean and quiet. Upon arrival, there is no one manning the booth and signs tell you to drive directly to the site. I'm not sure what the camp hosts do here other than putting out reservation signs on the sites. When we asked about how we contact them for an issue, they told us to knock on their trailer. There's no phone number to call for questions or issues. When we had severe weather, I walked to their site to get info on where to shelter and they didn't answer, so it was somewhat disconcerting to feel as if there was no one manning the campground. We stayed in Site 7 on Loop A and it was a beautiful site overlooking the lake. However, the pad is asphalt and is crumbling away. There is one significant area on the right side of the pad where the asphalt is crumbling away and deep potholes on the left side, so navigating into the site was tricky avoiding that. Once set, it was a great week. Nice and quiet.

Enjoyed our stay of 10 nights at Twin Dikes COE on Lake Sam Rayburn. Beautiful view of the lake. Enjoyed watching the bald eagles along the water edge. Mr. Jim, one of the park hosts, was very friendly and helpful.

The most loving and helpful people that run the park that we have ever experienced and we definitely recommend this park

Great place to camp, nice view of the lake. Some of the sites need a little TLC ( wooden tables are starting to fall apart.)
