Love the large pens for the horses, water can be a bit far away so bring a long hose. The shower house is nice BUT the hot water didn't work...or I was told it had to run a LONG time before it came out. I got frustrated and left to shower in my own rig. Trails are NOT marked so you're on your own. I'd screen shot maps from other people to get your bearings. Lake is beautiful to ride along - all sand so easy on the horses feet. I did hit some really boggy areas so be careful near the lake. Campsites are far apart, giving privacy and room. Lots of TICKS...be sure to spray your horse and dog - came home with 6 on the dog, 2-3 on the horses. Camp host is super friendly.

We absolutely love coming to Ebenezer Park to camp with our horses. The host was fantastic and was very helpful and kind. We come at least a couple times a year and have always enjoyed our time

Really enjoyed my stay at Ebenezer. Camping in my horse trailer was easy peasy especially parking so close to the restrooms which were very clean. Shower was also clean but hot. Campsites are humongous! Horse pens very nice this time. Spacious and dry. Enjoyed the trail riding very much. Can't wait to go back!

The horse pens were nothing but pig pens. Please bring sand in. Some people tied their horses to their trailers.

I had site #7 with one horse. The left pen gate is in bad shape with a bent, rusty pipe on the bottom. The gate really needs to be replaced before a horse cuts his leg on it. I took a pic but theres no way to download it here. Restroom shower water was cold even when there werent many campers there. Restroom full of gnats/bugs. The people that clean it says there are holes in the screen thats allowing them on the inside. A bug zapper would be nice. Or fix the screen. The grounds themselves were clean.

This was my first time going to Ebenezer Park. I was traveling with one horse, one dog and myself alone. The park is beautiful, the home campsites are nice, the facilities are adequate (but not comfortable). The Pro's are that the park is beautiful, the lake is amazing, the horse trails are beautiful. The reservation experience is convenient and the campsites are well set up with shady pens, water (2 for each campsite), shaded picnic table. The trails and park are easy to ride and have lots of different terrain. I would 100% return to ride my horse for a day trip here. The Con's are that the park does not feel safe if you are traveling alone. I stayed on a Monday and Tuesday night, which are probably the least popular nights. The park entrance is not secured at night, there is only staff on site for limited hours during the day. The staff was extremely helpful and allowed me to check in early, and also switch campsites to one close to the only other campers at the park. The bathrooms / showers are usable. I would not camp here again alone because the park is open to the public and cars drive by and into the park at all hours.

Plenty of room for each of the Horse Camp sites. 2 nice 12'24' pens at each site. We had Deer in the camp ground in the evenings and into the night.
we were told to move for our spots due to someone cutting the trees close to my site Tuesday. the guys did not show up until Wednesday and the two trees they cut down weren’t anywhere around 7. I was with 4 other ladies in our group. They all moved but one lady. We were all spread out and it made it very inconvenient to visit because a couple of the ladies don’t get around well and they had to walk more to be close to everyone when we ate and visited. It would be nice if you gave us a credit on our acct being we were all inconvenienced for nothing!

I love Ebenezer. Nice pens, nice sites, rest room and showers. There are 2 spreader trailers to dump the manure in. Best of all, the trails are right next to the camp. I have mapped the trails with a Garmin. It is on Face Book at Ebenezer Trail Maps and you can print out the maps. If you have Garmin or an app that will allow you to download a GPX file, go to Ebenezer Trail Maps Group and answer 2 questions and I will approve you. I just come back from riding there twice in recent weeks. Trails are very nice, beach was nice. Don't forget to go over the dam and eat at The Stump!! Delicious hamburgers!!
Melissa was so wonderful and accommodating. Our pens for our original reservations were extremely muddy so she found us better locations for our trip She made our whole experience wonderful Jordan was great too!

The veiw, atmosphere and hospitality was TOP NOTCH. This was our 2nd visit to Ebenezer Park and although the 1st one was nice, this one far exceeded it. We are from Lake Charles and evacuated from the direct hit of Hurricane Delta after just being hit by Laura 6 weeks before. Upon arrival, Larry met us and directed us into our spot. He hung around to make sure all was good. He is an EXCELLENT Park Keeper. Hus is very curious and helpful and is Johnny on the Spot as far as the upkeep and cleaniness of the park. We will definitely be going back during the season he is there.

Love the camping experience with my horses! Clean restrooms and showers. The only things that could make it better is if there was shade in the horse corals and the trails marked. This park is amazing and the attendant was on point. Checking coggins and making sure we were doing well. We has an incredible time. The swimming area really nice also.

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
