This is a great small park with large cement pads for all RV's. During the day it is a little noisy because of the road, but at night it quiets down. We usually stay for one night because we are traveling through. I would recommend this park.

A great campground and a bargain with the over 65 pass. Clean, well kept, great location, hot and cold shower worked, toilet worked, electricity worked, all good. Keep up the good work USCOE.

Nov 1st 2022; There was no hot water in the shower. The campsite was clean and well kept. Neighbors were all quiet and kept to themselves. Campground was only about half full. Campground manager stopped by to question about a reservation, and when I produced it, cleared me and all was good. I would stay there again, no problem. I am a bicycler and tented in the grass off an RV cement slab. Considering it was off-season, I was satisfied with the place, but would have liked to had a shower.

The park is beautiful and facilities are great. Ive camp here since the 1970s and even hiked the connecting Cross Timbers Trail so I understand some related traffic, but there was homeless people hanging around and way too much traffic coming and going to be hikers. Many vehicles come and leave after short stays. The local authorities should investigate just what is happening in those woods.

No gate and no host. Spots are very close together. The guy next to me was a drunk with a large attack dog. When I pulled up the dog barked and was at end of leash ready to attack. Told him to put it up. He was so intoxicated he was picking up my marker lights I use to park in dark with. Next day I called rec.gov. They could help situation. They asked me about host. They couldnt tell me who was supervisor at spot. Gov people told me to call local police. They told me to call sheriffs. They told me couldnt do anything. I told them I would handle it. And they would be getting a call about 6:30. I ended up holding a spot light on the lush screaming at him to put the damn attack dog up. No one else dog barked all the time. Mine included. He kept saying oh she all bark wont hurt you. While he had signs up warning about his security dog. I packed up and had to leave. Anyone can drive in any time of the night and hang out. Perfect place for drunks and drug activity.
