I visited Mott Park as a test for my first camping trip with my new Casita trailer. I live in Ennis so it was close to home. Clad, Jody, and Melissa the park volunteers were wonderful, helpful and giving as I had some camping issues. They were there to assist.

It was nice that there was more activity at the park and lake itself. This shows that the upkeep has improved. I would recommend that the USCE spend some funds on road maintenance and maybe one or two more garbage sites rather than the one by the entrance. Also, are they running short on gate entrance attendants?

Our visit to the Park was extremely relaxing and enjoyable. The Parks upkeep and new facilities (restrooms and showers) along with their upkeep and the upkeep of the facility grounds has made it a pleasure to camp in the Park. The only part of the Park that I would suggest needs work on is the asphalt roads and RV sites.

Beautiful park with nice views of the lake. Most RV spots are spaced apart nicely. However, the water well failed and we had NO water from Saturday morning until checkout Sunday morning. This created an inconvienance of us rationing water until we left. I will go back though as they had a nice park setting.

A very nice park. We always enjoy our stay at Mott. We were there for spring break and then we’re going to be there for Easter this year.

The park needed lots of work, grass was long and looked like it hadn't been maintained very well. The pull through site was really unlevel and had a nut tree that was dropping nuts the whole time.

Nice view of lake with many pull through sites. Lots of leveling blocks needed at site 29 which had an acorn tree dropping nuts constantly. Grass looked like it hadn't been mowed for a very long time. Granted, it was November when I was there...maybe better during summer months.

Quiet campground, even on 4th of July weekend. Site 29 is a long pull through...I was able to fit tow vehicle, camper, boat, and it's tow vehicle

The park needs an overall cleanup and upgrade. The pull through site we were at needed the wooden ground dividers replaced and there was a broken down old bbq pit that should have been disposed of (*a newer one had been installed) On the positive side, the park hosts and staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.

Only suggestion was grass going down to the lake where the boats were parked was too high and needed mowing. The people at the front gate were AMAZING and very friendly!
