I would like for the Group Shelter to go back to an overnight stay site instead of a day use site.

Crew and rangers are extremely friendly, and helpful. I left my phone at the campsite picnic table and they retrieved and held it for me until I could return. Also were available on site most of the day and campground was extremely clean and well maintained. We will be back soon.

Driveway into campground is very ruff with lots of holes. Most of the RV sites by water are slopping down hill. Garbage is by the entrance gate so you have to drive there or keep it all at your site. A few too many very late night loud partiers. Could use some upkeep by the RV sites very long grass.

The park was decent, however the site seemed to have some sort of electrical issues. While it is a 30 amp site, and I have a 50 Amp Camper, this site seemed to trip the breaker more than others I've been in. We could only run 1 AC at a time, even on the lowest settings, which has not been the case in other sites. Not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of if you are using this site.

Great location!! Only draw-back is that all the sites at Mott Park are 30A.

Squatters next to me lost their spot for the nightand in my spot the next day they moved their tent behind us and items in between the 2 site and moved their 8 dogs allowing them to get up under my travel trailer. Had to go to the front gate and complain cause they also hooked up to my electrical. 2 sherif officer came out and made them move found out later they were homeless and didnt have their spot scheduled correctly.

Had a great Mother's Day weekend at a beautiful spot, #15, with a great view of the lake and decent privacy. Nice shaded shelter over the picnic table and pleasant breeze off the lake. No one was ever at the gate into the park so we just went through without checking in, No security. Grass was mowed on Saturday, which was very odd considering it was a very crowded park over the weekend. Couldn't have been mowed on a weekday before everyone came? The grandkids had a great time swimming at the beach area even though there was almost no sand and the weeds had not been mowed at all. The beach should be one of the first areas cleaned up and ready for summer. The "beach" was the most disappointing thing of the trip. But, overall, a nice quiet park and we enjoyed our trip.

We had gone to the Ennis Bluebonnet Festival and left as soon as the band finished. We arrived at the park at 10:10 and the gate was locked. No one had given us a code to get through the gate like most parks do. There are 2 trailers parked by the gate so we had to go knock on their doors and get someone to unlock the gate. We will not be staying there again. Dont like to have to go knock on a door at night

Lady at the gate was very polite and helpful. Sites are far apart. During our April weekday visit, it was quiet and about half full. Has Water, Electric -- No Wi-Fi, as expected in any Corp of Engineers Campground. Only drawback is very unlevel sights. Beautiful water views. Well maintained campground. Plenty of clear viewing local TV channels without cable.
